Jo ("Josie") Lynne Mitchell

I am a native of Fayetteville, NC. When I was in high school, my parents relocated to Lumber Bridge, NC.  I graduated from Parkton High School in 1986 and later received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting in 2003 from Fayetteville Technical Community College.  I worked very hard and maintained a perfect 4.0 average while still helping to raise our two children.  I have been involved in public accounting since October 1994 when I joined my husband's CPA firm as office manager.  I gradually began preparing payrolls and bookkeeping for our clients which I still do today.  During the merger of our firm from 2003 to 2008,  I served as controller for two different privately owned companies.
