Our Firm

Our firm was opened on July 25, 2008.  We are one of few CPA firms located in the town limits of Hope Mills, North Carolina.   I am the only CPA in the firm and my wife, Jo ("Josie") Lynne, is also employed full-time as an accountant with our firm.  Combined we have 45 years of accounting and consulting experience.  This is our second CPA firm.  Our first firm, Michael D Mitchell, CPA, PA, was located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, from 1992 to 2003.  In 2003, we decided to merge our firm with a larger firm.  About five years later, we decided to repurchase our clientele and reopen in Hope Mills.  We are currently members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("AICPA"), the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants ("NCACPA"), and the Hope Mills Area Chamber of Commerce.

We are very blessed and fortunate to have many wonderful clients whom we are also proud to call our friends.  Some of our clients have been under my personal care for 25 years and many have been with us since we established our first firm.  We are always seeking individuals and businesses that value close relationships and personal service.

Even though we work from our home, we take your privacy very seriously and secure our office whenever it is not in use.
